They should create a new genre for the B-52's. Fun-rock!
I remember they was always the most fun songs on the dance floor. Some very creative dancing, because everyone just went wild with movement.
Pretty low rating for a song Rolling Stone had as its No. 18 song of 2007. I'm guessing most listeners aren't tune with their critics.
I think the song is clever, outrageous, and fun.
Why is this at RP Rock mix? Seems something different
It's on the rock mix because it's a rock song, and a very good one. It's debatable whether Beethoven was the first rock star, but his fifth as an intro was genius.
Baroque Pop? ...must be a Canadian thing! ...decent tune! ...bizarre genre label!
Baroque because they use every instrument imaginable. Actually they all play several, including vocal harmonies. A strings are in every song. And, really, I have no idea
I love this tune!! Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman will always be the best rock rhythm section. Really listen to the bass line. The Stones only homage to disco, in an incredible rock song
hey, that chick has a superb voice!
(ok guys, now you can roast me :-)
Are you saying Geddy's voice is a little high pitched? Because if you are, you're right. You put up with the voice for everything else they have to offer, and I mean everything.
No, you hear Bo Diddley, whom Peter Townsend also borrowed the beat from, Summertime Blues, same thing.
Hey, Bo Diddley!!
Remember Bow wow wow, I want Candy, also, Hey, Bo Diddley.
You might try the mellow mix. Looks like this hasn't been played there in the last 30 days. I caution against the rock mix where it sees plenty of air time, on the order of every other day.
Long live RP.
I think the correct answer is.... "I hope not", or without Led Zeppelin, it's just not a rock mix, or if you don't like music from one of the top five bands of all time, what do you like, or RadioParadise is just not for you.

This one gets a "10" just for the pic of Phoebe Cates!
Hehe. I liked her more when her hair was shorter.
It's a cool song musically, lyrically. If you are in the middle of the road, you see the the extremes of society in a different light.
Used They pronoun. Kuddos for being ahead of their time.
It's a great thought, but "they" in the song refers to, "they say...", or "who are they?" The 'they' of wisdom, society, and bullshit.

Does this remind anyone else of Bob Welch era Fleetwood Mac...or is it just me?
More like Leonard Cohen.

If you are trying to insinuate that Annie Lennox does not sing Mariah Carey / Withney Houston style, then you are correct.
Also, did he note the amazing background vocals. Also, the side of Annie Lennox with range. This was a duo. That's it.
I could have sworn this was BRMC or Silversun Pickups.
Or even Michael Kiwinuka - which i just discovered was Swahili for "It rises"
