They say "hold your head up", 38 times! LOL! Still a good tune!

It's good advice. ;) I love the killer whales holding their heads up.

This is not the best Dylan cover I've heard, but just like any other, it's better than the original. His work is admirable, but for me, he's the only artist whose  songs sound better when covered

Maybe not the only one, but that's why so many do his stuff or Niel Young's. The voice, at least, will probably be better. ;)

Remember first hearing this song in my early teens and for some unknown reason then, identifying with it. Some 50 yrs later I now understand. Guess I’m a slow learner.

JS's - a fine version that all other versions are a tribute to.

This album and his Elton John album represent what an inflective time that was, with the Viet Nam war swirling around, the inflection psychedelics and weed provided-the conflict of so much family who thought of themselves as patriots and us as less thans. These albums for me were shelters from the storm, a chance to get grounded and reassured when we were facing headwinds much larger than we were. And all the more remarkable that he and Bernie wrote about an environment-the South-without being there. Simply, quite stunning. Our poets...

So much better for me now. I guess I've changed. I'm glad.
