Per Rig Chog Sum - Yungchen Lhamo

"born under the rule of the superpower, but was encouraged by her grandmother to learn and sing the traditional music — a dangerous thing, which, if discovered, could lead to torture and prolonged detention. "
Incredible. I love world music! Especially that of the far east. We hear so little of it here.
Lie on Lie - Chalk FarM

Wow, who would've thought to hear this on the air!
Cool!
Ode to My Family - The Cranberries
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
As I refer to them, the Crapberries.
You know, the things that hang off your dog's behind and make you laugh watching them run in circles...
At least I'd rather laugh at my dog's discomfort than experience my own listening to this band...
Rock Lobster - The B‐52s

How about Girl from Ipanema, or Wig?
I Will Survive - CAKE
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
I think it's funny as hell :p and am enjoying it greatly. I hate the song, but I like it with Cake ;)
Coldsweat - The Sugarcubes

Great band! Good choice Bill!
Union of the Snake - Duran Duran
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
This is not making for a pleasant morning...

Tie Up My Hands - Starsailor
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
I just can't handle this.... Not that it's not good, it's just not my taste. Too 70's sounding to me. Too space-rock...
Buena - Morphine
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
Buena, Buena!

KevinM put my thoughts to words so eloquently that I needn't repeat him....
When I Grow Up - Michelle Shocked
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
The first time I heard this they were playing the whole album on KTCL. I stayed in bed and missed all my morning classes listening to her lyrics....
Awesome stuff, and so ironic!
Lakini's Juice - Līve
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
They'd be really good if the lead singer would sing instead of screaming all the time.
One More Cup of Coffee - Bob Dylan
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
I certainly don't need One More Cup of Coffee....
(and I like Dylan and Harris normally)
When I Touch You - Spirit
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
This does nothing for me.

Bill, you get points for a sense of humor, but it's really so bad I can't rate it...

Hold On - Green Day
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
Please don't subject us to this often, I'm turning green and ill as it plays on... :p
In Spite of Me - Morphine
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
Finally - Morphine! Thanks Bill! Could we maybe get "Cure for Pain" or "I'm Free Now?" They're a little more upbeat (musically).
Somewhere/Wonderful - Israel Kamakawiwoʻole
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
I like it! Can we be truly diverse and also play Judy singing it? And Louis too? :)
All Night Long - Peter Murphy
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
Can I give it a 10 again?
Bill - how about Indigo Eyes from the same album, or Dragnet Drag
Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Posted 23 years ago by Loni:
Skynyrd sucks. Period.
