For some unknown reason, I had never heard any Spirit before listening to Radio Paradise. I'm a big fan now

This song and the album it's on are very reminiscent of Disintegration. Bloodflowers is supposedly the third part of a trilogy, along with Pornography and Disintigration.

Eno's influence is all over this one.

First to comment! Beck's upcoming release has a folk/country sound very similar to Mutations, which is my favorite album of his.

Those 2 earlier albums are much better than "Jubilee", although it has a couple of good tunes on it. I usually skip past this song, though.

Heard CSNY perform this song last week. Gave me goosebumps when I recognized the guitar intro. I wasn't expecting to hear this great Neil Young gem.

Bought this album in high school for the song Luka but soon fell in love with everything else on it including this wonderful song.

Yeah, it's a pretty good album. Not as experimental as their previous release "The Sophware Slump" but more listenable.

Reminds me of early Tears for Fears.

...So whenever I hear this song, the first thing that comes to mind is "Finger Lickin' Good" from their album Check Your Head, where they sampled the line "Going back to New York City...." Hearing JLTTB in full afterwards is kinda weird.
Right there with you on that one :p I can't listen to this song without thinking of the Beasties.

Agreed, it's difficult to like the album as a whole. Just sounds like a bunch of pleasant-sounding but dissimilar songs.

This version's too clean-sounding, not gritty or dirty enough like the original. This sounds like the "Up With People" version or something!

Entertaining song. I usually can't stand kid singing but it works well here.

Thought the same thing. Still, this is my favorite from their new album so far.
