An amazing man, who kept dignity, honor, and art alive to the very end. If only we could all die so well. KAC

Wow, what a dirth of opinions. These guys are great. Of course I'm "into" this kind of music. Amazing how much the woman sounds like Emily of the Indigo Girls. KAC

This album is full of incredible music. "Cold Blue Steel Sweet Fire" still makes goosebumps on me. Let the wind carry me.....Wow!

Dig deep into those Van Morrison archives Bill, for there are many treasured songs that are not hits, like this one. Keep playing on...good to hear.
Agreed!

What an incredible song! Love the line(s): "I've been to hell and back so many time, I must admit you kind of bore me." Wow!

Am I mistaken or does every song from Vienna Teng feature the piano? If so, that is very cool. It is rare to hear the pop or singer-songwriter genres featuring the piano. Unfortunately. I need to buy this album to help inspire my son to keep up with his piano lessons!
She is a piano player....and lists her influences like Elton John, Billy Joel, Tori Amos... KAC

I don't get the hype about Paul Simon, I really don't. A good singer/songwrite right enough, but his best work was back in the S&G days and since then all he's done is rip off - sorry, pay homage to - other musical styles, particularly Cuban and African music. I've heard this particular number so many times, none of them voluntary, that I can sing the blasted lyrics in my mind, and it grates. Or maybe it's Monday morning and I'm just being a grump... ;-
Certainly he's done a few explorations into other styles, but I really don't think you give him proper credit. He is extremely creative, Rhymin' Simon', Graceland, and the latest cd "Suprise" is wonderful.

Too bad this group packed it in --- this CD is really good.
Yep, they were great!! I picked up his solo album and it is totally lacking without her. KAC

The CJs are my favorite. They are true to their nature, do what they want, when they want and Michael Timmons is a virtual genius songwriter. KAC
