if i'm not mistaken, she wrote this album while in a relationship with a woman. not positive on that though, just an educated guess from a fellow bisexual. ;)
that said, most conservative music venues have more of a problem with ani's outspoken liberal politics... her sexuality takes a backseat to the fact that her lyrics consistently & intelligently poke holes in the faulty logic of many governmental & societal constructs some people hold dear.
