There are certain songs that when they come on RP, I have to stop whatever I am doing and listen. This is defnitely one of them.
Yeah. Had to stop working and refresh the playlist for this one.

Dang, this is a fun song with a message....I hate when artists do that.
It felt more like propaganda to me, which took away from the fun.

'Ladies and gentlemen, Elmer Fudd does Bruce Springsteen:

Can't forget the little Elmer hunting cap he pulls on, either.
That song was just called fire. It's an early song, this one was from Born in the USA.

I love this song, I remember the video (remember when it was blasphemy for bruce to do music videos? :) ) where he's actually singing to the old t-bird car and not the woman who owns it.
Good times.

As if it's illegal! Isn't Country the white men's Blues? Makes it perfectly justified for John Hiatt to sing it (whatever you may think of its quality).
Depends on the country music, a lot of the new stuff I think of as Britney Spears for farmer wannabees. Tacky, commercial, sell me a truck and beer and stick a fork in my eye.

Personally I like the muted Irish bagpipe more than the deep drone of the scottish one. It also complements her voice nicely.

Been there, am there now, sigh. So many cases, so little interest.

I cannot stand anything by Otis Redding or anything in this genre. I would like to know what it is called so I can avoid it in future. Is it "Motown"? "Soul"?
Uh, click on the album and read.

Still very wank though...all said?....1/10?
Very wank? Either means very good or very bad.
I don't know . . . Just for laughs, pulled this off dictionary.com:
wank
/wangk/ Used much as hack
is elsewhere, as a noun denoting a clever technique or person
or the result of such cleverness. May describe (negatively)
the act of hacking for hacking's sake ("Quit wanking, let's go
get supper!") or (more positively) a wizard. "wanky"
describes something particularly clever (a person, program, or
algorithm). Conversations can also get wanky when there are
too many wanks involved. This excess wankiness is signalled
by an overload of the "wankometer" (compare bogometer).
When the wankometer overloads, the conversation's subject must
be changed, or all non-wanks will leave. Compare
"neep-neeping" (under neep-neep). Usage: US only. In
Britain and the Commonwealth this word is *extremely* rude and
is best avoided unless one intends to give offense.

Brave New World - Richard Ashcroft

Another artist stealing from shakespeare, which is fine, it's a tradition, but it's written like he didn't know he'd done that - which is a little boring. Borrowed from a book that stole from good ol' Willy too but at least the book knew what it was doing.
