I'm a little surprised by the variance of opinion here, but I guess if you like Neil Young, you'll love these guys. I happen to like 'em alot, and I thank RP for turning me on to a band that's gotten zero airplay in my parts of the world.

For you youngsters out there wondering why we listened to prog rock stuff like this, keep in mind what else was on the radio at the time, including Jim Croce and Helen Reddy. That and the fact pot was way cheaper in the 70s. Well done, Bill -- slip in a "Cinema Show" sometime.

Second fine cut I've heard from this band on RP. (Side note -- this band has an exceptionally well-done Web site.) Keep finding me good tunes, Bill. I live in a radio wasteland, and you're a Godsend.

Sure it sounds like Tori Amos with a better band, but the moment I heard it, I had to click for more info. At first listen, it's a brilliant piece of work.

The 517 is an Army unit. The CD is a rock opera, for lack of a better term, about a soldier going off to war. Soldiers in the 51-7 wouild know that someone is lying if they talked about serving in 5-17. If you're looking for a totally obscure gem of a CD, check out the CVB song-for-song cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk."
