A great track, thanks for playing! I heard him live with the Mahavishnu Orchestra, back in maybe '72? (memory's kinda foggy of those days). Inner Mounting Flame had just come out at that time, pretty amazing stuff. Useless trivia: the opening act that night was someone no one had heard of at the time, a band called Aerosmith. The audience was not impressed, Aerosmith was booed off the stage! Tyler was totally upset, screamed into the mike that they were gonna be famous! We just thought he was trying to rip off Jagger. :D

A nice mellow tune. I like it :)

I recognize the melody, it's an old minstrel ballad you might hear at a renaissance fair. Here's some of the words, if anyone's interested: "Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose Will I ever see thee wed I will marry at thy will sire At thy will... Hey ho, nobody home Meat, nor drink, nor money have I none Yet shall we be be ma-arried Hey Ho, nobody home... Ding Dong, Ding Dong Wedding Bells on an April morn Carve your name in a moss covered stone, sire Moss covered stone..."

I like it, an interesting track to have in the mix. It reminds me of Mickey Hart's "Planet Drum" world beat stuff. :)

A great Dylan song from one of his best albums, IMO. Thanks for playing it! :)

Excellent song, the words really make you think. The lyrics to this are based on a poem written by R.L. Sharpe over 50 years ago. Here's a link, if anyone's interested https://www.docspeak.com/Programs/STRANGE.HTM

I agree. Leon's style just doesn't seem to fit this song.

Great song, but it seem like every time this one plays, I'm away from my desk! Just got back from lunch, missed it again. Oh well, maybe next time...

Musically, this isn't one of his best, IMO. But the lyrics are interestingly strange. Here's a link, if you want to check it out: https://www.davemcnally.com/lyrics/YoungNeil/TheLastTripToTulsa.asp Probably wouldn't want to hear this too often, but once in a while is OK by me.

I like it, brings back memories. Remember hearing this in my first car on WHCN back when I lived in CT.(I had an under dash 8-track with built in FM). I always thought it was a cool, jazzy kinda tune, good "parking" music. :D
