Not a guitar, BTW. It is a Cloacanica, a very rare type of tubular device which when twisted makes sounds which remind one of the phrase "Twist you cat" (or "Twist Your cat"; or "Twist, You Cat", etc.)
"Cloacanica" must be a rare device. I just Googled it to find more information and found myself back here. Seriously, this page is currently the only result. www.google.ca/search?q=Cloacanica

This reminds me of Volvos. They used it in brand wide advertisement campaign a couple of years ago.

I really like this tune. It's sad but honest and simple. The Eels have been catching my ear more often lately.

This song is unfortunately bad but it's also unfortunately their best.

Probably the best cover of Hallelujah. Kathyrn William's is quite good as well. Of course the Cohen original is the best. I can't remember the John Cale cover. Supposedly Regina Spektor has done a cover as well which would be nice to hear.

This song always reminds me of walking home from a pub on a crisp winter night, the sound of snow compressing beneath my feet, thinking of the night. The Tragically Hip are the quintessential Canadian band. Their early work takes much form Canadian history (Tom Thompson, Milgaard, race riots in TO) moreso than their later work but a common thread throughout the years has been a very acurate reprsentation of CDN life which can still be appreciated by folks from other places of the world. If you get the chance, espically at a small venue like they would play in the US, check them out.
