i saw them live at "docks" in hamburg (germany). i have seen many concerts in my life from "simple minds" over "the cure" to "heaven shall burn" and i can say: this concert was the most mindblowing. it was the best i've ever seehn life (accept my first girlfriend naked). sorry for bad english *g

Another classic from Peter Schilling, just one in a long line of German rock and pop legends. Please also play something by DJ Bobo.

I still haven't figured out if the alleged 'genius' of Morricone (or Sergio Leone, for that matter) is authentic or a tongue-in-cheek fabrication by a clique of East Village hipsters that just caught on somehow. I tend to suspect the latter. Either way, this isn't music made for listening. It's the backdrop for a visual narrative and cannot stand on its own. Pleeeease stop playing it, Bill!  {#Stop}

Reading through some of the old comments about voice being suited to material, I finally realize who DP has always reminded me of:  Bryan Ferry back in the late Roxy days, perhaps without benefit of Brian Eno, and smoothed out a little too much, but not quite into the crooner excesses — which I liked, actually — of Ferry's solo work.

Fire away, boys ...

i love both, Roxy Music and DM. but DM is more "sex offender'ish" and Roxy Music more "suburbia ladykiller". {#Tongue-out}
