Sounds a lot like the material from AfroCelt Sound System. Was it produced by some of the same people? Intriguing...

I already know how everyone else does it! Give me something new I say! This song is exactly what a cover should be. It's something different from the original, a new take, he's taken the song and made it his own.

When this comes on I always think it's Lola (The Kinks) until the singer comes in. Funny, even the delivery of the lyrics is similar.

Hey! It's that car commercial song! Or was it a cruise commercial....

Didgeridoo! Yes! Awesome.

This reminds me of Dave Mathews Band, minus Dave Mathews

This is what good music is about, head-boppin' and with a message of real substance.

This is exactly how I enjoy Gogol Bordello, in tasteful moderation.

I like the story in this song. I'd like to see this movie. It sounds like something unpredictable, gritty, funny, sad and real.

Sounds like where Weird Al would have ended up musically if he'd been given a guitar as a kid instead of an accordion.

Going purely from the aesthetics of the song, it definitely feels like left over material from the Into The Wild sound track.

One of the best mashups I've heard. There's more at his myspace. This one is always my favorite though.

I have to echo the Flight of the Conchords connection, "Inner City Pressure" is a spot-on parody of this song. Can't listen to this without hearing their lyrics now.

Definitely a Hednrix-esque vocal delivery.  *thumbs up*

"You dropped Obama me, baby, you dropped Obama me"

Sounds like the sort of thing one comes up with when messing about in Apple GarageBand on a lazy Sunday... Not good, not bad, it just is.

Ground control, calling Mgr. Tom...

The music sounds so much like Bowie's Space Oddity...

A nu-death-metal-turned-jazz group? Now that certainly is different.

For all I know the lyrics could be redeeming, but this just sounds like non-melodic noise to me...

Replace that grating guitar loop with something sane and you have a good song. This is the type of thing they use to torture prisoners.
