I love this song. I played it for days after 9-11. Ryan Adams played this on SNL once soon after 9-11. But what do I know, I'm just a frustrated Ninja!
come to mention it, i did hear billy corgan ruin a lolllapalooza appearance back in the 1990's, castigating and scolding the crowd and playing terrible distortion as everyone booed - forgot about that fine memory. they were great for teenage angst and dreaming, though. they helped me become a motherf*cking ninja.
i like it. starts out with some funk... cross between the music from "there will be blood" and "the three funerals of melquiades estrada." not that i think in musical soundtracks.
kind of fades away after that with the cheese violins.
should have stuck to the inner ninja core.
as far as indies go, ani difranco is a goddess to be emulated, and this song is amazing. never would have made it up the corporate pop charts, of course
good song. it makes me think of ralph nader for some reason... he just announced he's running again. i respect the guy, but he is casting himself as a simple spoiler again. I wish he had spent the last 8 years advocating and realizing a new voting system in which third party candidates can be voted for without becoming spoilers. as in a 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice voting system where votes are counted several different ways.
as if that would ever make it through a dem/repub congress.
i'm in the mood for a little coldplay, thanks. I'm ashamed by my fondness for their mind-numbing simplicity. They toned down the best parts of Catherine Wheel and added some falsetto voice... a little soulless, but definitely addictive.

this deserves more than a 6.2 people.
listen to that banjo, twanging like a ninja on the porch in west virginny!
speaking of ninjas, feel free to pet my ninja octopus.
But what do I know, I'm just a frustrated Ninja!
Forget about your house of cards, too..
