This is actually the first time in my life that I hear a different song from these guys than “Radar Love”. Yet another one of the many reasons why I listen to Radio Paradise.
Me too. At the age of 65 this is my first time for this song. Love it.
is 1967 when this came out! OMG I must tbe getting old - we didn't have a colour TV at home so had to go to an 'old' family friend who did to watch this in colour - so original and still sounds original
Well, born in '52, I'm definitely getting old and I remember watching the film, in black and white. Really had to nag my parents to let us watch it. I already had the "double EP" at the time. No LP version. I still have the EP complete with the lyric sheets. What a time it was.
Ditto. I was listening only casually until the "little drops of rain" bit, then my ears perked up and I realized it was a cover. No, more than a cover, a reinterpretation. Works for me. 8
Whilst doing the crossword with a morning coffee, this track caused an eyebrow to raise and, as so often happens, I found myself digging into the comments to see what it was all about.
Whilst this track was not initially appealing and did not thrill me, what did (and does constantly) thrill me is the fact that this platform continues to offer up all that is worthy and intriguing in the world of music.
That RP exists at all in this modern world is a wonder in itself. Perhaps one day RP will be devoured by one of the world's all-too-powerful algorithmically-driven mega platforms but, for now, Muso's have never had it so good.
Watched the Jethro Tull YouTube and it’s no comparison. Could be the outstanding RP audio streaming quality.
That's like comparing apples with onions. I like the Collosseum version but that's like adding oranges into the comparison. Let them stand or fall on their own merits. I happen to like em all. Just depends on the day which I favour the most.

It's still a nice change from the 100 times Pink Floyd every day...

This appears to be quite relevant given the current state of the presidential election.
Me too 👍😃
Guess thats what garycha means by "loose 'n' dirty"

My Muso loves RP too
