My thoughts exactly!!! It makes me sad to think that the band was never able to achieve the great sound they had up to this point.{#Cry}

I thought this sounded a lot like Everything but the Girl (EBTG) so I did a little digging and found this.

"In the 1990s, she(Tracey Thorn from EBTG) collaborated with Massive Attack on several projects, including the soundtrack for the motion picture Batman Forever where she contributed with "The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game". Their first project together was the song "Protection" from the album by Massive Attack of the same name. She also sings on the track "Better Things". -Wikipedia

I agree. How many of those 10s would still be 10s if Bowie was still with us?

Just a thought....would Bill be playing so much Bowie had he not died.
Never did care for much of Bowie's repertoire but this is pretty awful....IMHO

Great song. The violins going all the way through. Atmospheric.

Atmospheric...I guess you could call it that. It reminds me of the atmosphere one might encounter during a round of KGB interrogation or in place of Chinese water torture.{#Whipit}  The violins feel like they are trying to saw their way into my subconscious to release the state secrets. {#Beat}

Damn, these guys were GOOD! The timing in this is incredible and they make it seem so smooth and effortless. What amazing talent!

It really is easy to get good timing when you repeat the same rift over and over for 5 minutes. IMHO this song is 3 minutes too long.{#Frustrated}
