You can't see my eyes
You can't see my eyes
They don't see yours
Hear me when I say
I don't mind at all
It's the rain that I hear coming
Not a stranger or a ghost
It's the quiet of a storm approaching
That I fear the most
It's the pain that I hear coming
The slightest crystal tear, drops to the ground
In silence, when my love is near
Darling, when did you fall? When was it over?
Darling when? When did you fall? When was it over?
It's marching through my door now
The stony cold of lonesome
A bell tolls for my heart and then my lonesome song begins
It's marching through my door now
The stony cold of lonesome
A bell tolls for my heart and now my lonesome song begins
Darling, when did you cry? I couldn't hear you
Darling when? When did you cry? I couldn't hear you
I suppose it is the price of falling in love

It's the rain that I hear coming

It's the pain that I hear coming

In silence when my love is near
It's marching through my door now the stony cold of lonesome
A bell tolls for my heart and now my lonesome song will end
Darling when did we fall? When was it over?

Delerium

Delerium is a Canadian new-age ambient electronic musical duo that formed in 1987, originally as a side project of the influential industrial music act Front Line Assembly. Throughout the band’s history, their musical style has encompassed a broad range, including dark ethereal ambient trance, voiceless industrial soundscapes, and electronic pop music. They are best known for their worldwide hit "Silence". The band is known to feature female guest vocalists on their albums since their 1994 album Semantic Spaces.
Good band name. Is that like The Unique Copy Shop?
Was gonna buy the CD (via Amazon link): 62Bucks??
Good tunage and all...
methinks otherwise...
just send RP $. Bill will keep playing it for you.
Stylistically the third album in the transition between really beautiful but ambient music (pre-Semantic-Spaces) and brainless pop (post-Poem). I prefer the one in the middle (Karma) over this one, but there are some very beautiful tracks on Poem indeed.
Now I recognize that voice - Leigh Nash used to be with 6 Pence Non The Richer....
An excellent voice it is, too.
Love the simple lush guitar… that keeps changing through various textures… fresh and juicy.

I feel like the vocalist is the weak link with these guys...having been a fan of both Skinny Puppy (still have a cassette of them) and Front Line Assembly, its interesting to follow the progression. But it's a bit fluffy for my tastes...
I suppose pretty much all music is fluffy if your point of reference is Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly.
Imitation genuine comment.
Could very well be, though probably you are alone. I once heard a snippet of ELO's Mr Blue Sky in Out of Space from the Prodigy. But I lost it since.
And I thought it was EmilÃana Torrini! Why does this gal from New Braunfels, TX sound Icelandic to us?!
Since New Braunfels is the putout spot for canoers & kayakers, must be the effect of all that water.
