Here they come and they might as well
Too many birds in my confusion now
Now they'll circle over this house till we take them in)
You show me a sign to rise up from the world we know
And she's strung out on life
He soon rolls his teeth
Spilling out from a mouth fit to overflow
Back into me
She moves and it's fire
fire underwater
Speaks of its flame
she speaks my name
Well they all really want you
If only you had wanted them
Lights move in the chalk lines
Chains that define who I am
Here we are again
how could I have seen?
Always she's driving
how could I have known?
Right through the strangest calling
I should have known
Straight through the sound
gramarye, I've found
See how she's driving me down
Straight from the sound
She's seen as a bright sun to anyone
Hollow and mined
With the weight of the world
Trailing out till the last train
Discovers me
Alive on Vine
She moves and it's fire
fire underwater
Speaks of its flame
she speaks my name
As you move in a chalk line
Change in the dream that I am
Here we are the same
I used to see something in the idea
But only once did my hands reach
Anything beautiful
Now she's turned away
And I...
We move in it's fire
show me a sign
fire underwater
Speaking its flame
it speaks my name
She proves
soon roll its teeth
the liar
On every one of them
we are the same
Lights move in a chalk line
Change in the fire who I am
Here we are again
How could I have seen?
always she's driving
How could I have known?
right through the strangest calling
Straight through the sound,
Gramarye, I have found,
See how she's driving me
Always she's driving
Back through the strangest calling
Straight through the sound
Gramarye, I found
See how she's driving me down

Remy Zero was an American alternative rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 1989. It was composed of August Cinjun Tate (vocals, guitar), Shelby Tate (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Cedric LeMoyne (bass), Jeffrey Cain (guitar, vocals), and Louis Schefano (drums), who was later replaced by Gregory Slay (drums, percussion).
Before Remy Zero had released any full-length albums, Radiohead found their demo tape and invited them to be part of the US tour for their album The Bends (1995). After that, Remy Zero moved from Alabama to Los Angeles to record their first album. The self-titled record received little recognition or sales. The subsequent album, Villa Elaine, generated some acclaim. Villa Elaine was recorded when the band was living in an apartment of the same name in Hollywood. Remy Zero's third album, The Golden Hum, was also received well. A 50-second version of the song "Save Me" from The Golden Hum was used as the theme song for WB/CW's Smallville during its ten-season run.
The band broke up after making The Golden Hum and many of its members went on to join new bands. Shelby and Cinjun created Spartan Fidelity, Cain joined Isidore and later created Dead Snares; LeMoyne toured with Alanis Morissette's band before joining O+S and later Rose of the West. Gregory Slay created Sleepwell.
Drummer Gregory Slay died on January 1, 2010, aged 40, of complications from cystic fibrosis. On May 22, 2010, Remy Zero played their first show together in eight years as a tribute to Gregory in New Orleans, the town where he was born. This was followed by the release of the new single "'Til the End" on the label Popantipop, on September 7, 2010.

Thanks for that Belinder, I read the description of it and although I know nothing about Los Angeles it did make me nostalgic to read the memories of people who lived there from the 1960's.
