Air

Air is a French music duo from Versailles, consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Their critically acclaimed debut album, Moon Safari, including the track "Sexy Boy", was an international success in 1998. Its follow-up, The Virgin Suicides, was the score to Sofia Coppola's first film of the same name. The band has since released the albums 10 000 Hz Legend, Talkie Walkie, Pocket Symphony, Love 2, Le voyage dans la lune and Music for Museum. The band is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and artists.

I got exposed to "AIr" via RP, and really like it for a breath of fresh... err.. air amongst the other music I listen to. Thanks to RP for exposing me to many bands I would never hear played on commercial radio. That's why I donate to them, and why, if you haven't, you should too.

I had a Talisman beer last night at a Pokey Lafarge concert, a tad grapefruity, too much Citra hops, I guess...........the beer, not Pokey, he was in fine form;
And now, back to your program 

Yet: For those who are interested, the beer was by Strangefellows, so totally in keeping with the crowd.  The gal (yes, she was a buxom flame haired beauty,) was from the House of Slitherin, as in slithering all over her boyfriend, around over and between - how is that even possible?
Meanwhile her girlfriend was doing her best to insinuate herself into the Gordonian knot. Oh, to be 25 again.

Went to a concert at the Barrymore in Madison, WI and the main act was very late, so the sound crew played Air and Zero7 while we waited after the opening act. Best takeaway from that night...

I remember when I first played this album; I had bought it for the ready for radio/MTV "Sexy boy"; I put it on, and went back to the CD box to locate that song, but then it had started playing the first song ( La Femme D'Argent" ); and I just could not press Skip! From that moment on I have never! at least on this album. It just took 30 seconds of the album!
