I've seen Thievery Corporation around 14 times now, and they never fail to get the deep groove flowin' -- just a fantastic musical collective.  DC's own!!!

Thievery Corporation originated from Washington, D.C.  How appropriate a name for the duo given the general goings on here in the nation's capital. 
Rob Garza could pass for Boris Blank of Yello and vice versa.

Yep, this isn't really the best possible example of house music (that's basically what it's called). It is a part, however, of what the current sound is nowadays, which has little or nothing to do with people actually playing INSTRUMENTS. I listen to a lot of this stuff but still like rock, blues, jazz, etc... Good for you Bill, for exploring other avenues of music. Maybe I'll upload some things that I think are better examples.
