Runs the water
Clean and beautiful
Leaves it standing on a Sunday
Here's the ritual
She has never been so pure has never been so pure
She throws down her trail of cigarette
Sunday wishes
Sunday wishes for his arrival
This one blessing
She wants nothing more
Out of sheer love
Out of sheer love
She has never been so pure has never been so pure
Below the surface she comes up for air and
She finds
She has never been so pure and full of desire
She has never been so pure
Seven pale scars out so sheer love
Seven pale scars
Here's the ritual out of sheer love
A small sacrifice
Clean and beautiful
The Golden Palominos were an American musical group headed by drummer, producer, arranger and composer Anton Fier, first formed in 1981. Aside from Fier, the Palominos membership has been wildly elastic, with only bassist Bill Laswell and guitarist Nicky Skopelitis appearing on every album through 1996. Their final work, 2012's A Good Country Mile features vocalist Kevn Kinney. The band's early work developed out of the No Wave scene, but later branched out into alternative rock, country rock and electronic music.
While the Palominos' records usually featured a core set of musicians and a certain emotional continuity throughout the bulk of an album, various guest appearances resulted in stylistic changes from track to track. Fier stated that he thought of himself as a casting director, elaborating: "Each record was an experiment and some lasted for two records, never longer than that. I chalk it up to my short attention span and the fact that there were lots of people I wanted to work with and ways to explore areas of music I was interested in, and certain combos wouldn't fit with others, so one record would be this and another record would be something else."
That's pretty funny - the guys behind the Palomino's are about as good musically as anybody going around....Bill Laswell, Anton Fier, Nicky Skopelitis. Palomino's aren't my favourite albums from these guys but the musicianship is top notch. I'm surprised and disappointed that so many RP listeners are more interested in talking about a perfectly natural picture of something that about half of us have than what they're listening to - seems a bit juvenile to me.
I remember hearing this in my early days as an RP newbie…<le sigh!>
Hearing this tonight brought back such great memories of all the new music with which I was gifted via this “new“ radio station I have discovered!
Forever grateful to William, Rebecca, & RP ! ❤️
In this case, b-o-r-i-n-g and completely uninspiring and by request play no more.
Next, please.
If you don't appreciate this genre of music, or are not inspired by it, that's fine. Since when has popular music not been marketed with the same methods that "they" sell sports cars or any other products? Do you have a copy of the Blind Faith album with the original cover?
I believe so too — seems we may be in the minority here though.... I've owned this CD for years now, and still play it every now and again. I like this song — 8 for me

guess you never heard the phrase "pure as mother's milk". Note how the lettering is laid out. Also the album is fantastic.
I loved hearing this song —-had no idea they sounded like that; but from what I read, they had many different sounds—maybe just start with this one.
Hopefully by now you have your hardwood floors and are enjoying this song to your stretching routine...
I'm sorry to say Cynaera passed onto the great audience in the sky some years ago, though, I'm sure they have hardwood floors there, and she's most likely she's still listening.
Oh...and the boob is just the best.
The angle is a booby trap - you might be disappointed!
Oh...and the boob is just the best.
I think you're quite confused. The monologue re: a girl being kidnapped is from the CD Dead Inside, and that whole CD is creepy. But no such thing on this CD.
Oh...and the boob is just the best.
This would be perfect to do my stretches to, with only candle-light and some fragrance... If only we had the hardwood flooring we intended actually laid down and not stacked in boxes in the living room... *sigh* Still, a really good song.

That album is in rotation on RP, but the "airplane" cover is not used here.
