Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good
City's breaking down on a camel's back
They just have to go 'cause they don't know whack
So all you fill the streets, it's appealing to see
You won't get out the county, 'cause you're damned as free
You got a new horizon, it's ephemeral style
A melancholy town where we never smile
And all I wanna hear is the message beep
My dreams, they gotta kiss because I don't get sleep, no
Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever, hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is free
Let's turn forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?
Laughing gas these hazmats, fast cats,
Lining them up like ass cracks,
Ladies, homies, at the track
It's my chocolate attack
Shit, I'm stepping in the heart of this here
Care bear bumping in the heart of this here
Watch me as I gravitate,
Hahahahahaa
Yo, we goin' ghost town,
This Motown,
With yo sound
You're in the blink
You gonna bite the dust
Can't fight with us
With yo sound
You kill the Inc.
So don't stop, get it, get it
Until you jet ahead
Yo, watch the way I navigate,
Hahahahahaa
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever, hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is free
Let's turn forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?
Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady, watch me navigate,
Hahahahahaa
Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady, watch me navigate
Hahahahahaa
Feel good...
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good, AHHHHahahahah
Shake it, shake it, shake it, feel good...
AHHHHahahahah...!

Gorillaz are an English virtual band created in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, from London. The band primarily consists of four fictional members: 2-D (vocals, keyboards), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums). Their universe is presented in media such as music videos, interviews, comic strips and short cartoons. Gorillaz's music has featured collaborations with a wide range of featured artists, with Albarn as the only permanent musical contributor.
With Gorillaz, Albarn departed from the distinct Britpop sound of his band Blur, exploring a variety of musical styles including hip hop, electronic and world music. The band's 2001 debut album, Gorillaz, which features dub, Latin and punk influences, went triple platinum in the UK and double platinum in Europe, with sales driven by the success of the lead single, "Clint Eastwood". Their second studio album, Demon Days (2005), went six times platinum in the UK, double platinum in the US, and spawned the successful lead single "Feel Good Inc." The band's third album, Plastic Beach (2010), featured environmentalist themes, synth-pop elements and an expanded roster of featured artists. Their fourth album, The Fall, was recorded on the road during the Escape to Plastic Beach Tour and released on 25 December 2010.
In 2015, after over 10 years providing the voice of Russel, Remi Kabaka Jr. became a permanent music producer for the band. Their fifth album, Humanz (2017) was the band's first in seven years and featured a wide array of guest artists, while its follow-up, The Now Now (2018), focused musically on Albarn. In 2020, Gorillaz started the Song Machine project, a music-based web series with episodes that consisted of standalone singles and accompanying music videos featuring different guests, which culminated with their seventh studio album, Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez (2020). The band's eighth studio album, Cracker Island (2023), met generally positive reviews as a refinement of their usual style.
Gorillaz has presented itself live in a variety of different ways throughout its history, such as hiding the touring band from the audience's view in the early years of the project, projecting animated band members on stage via computer graphics and traditional live touring featuring a fully visible live band. They have won a Grammy Award, two MTV Video Music Awards, an NME Award and four MTV Europe Music Awards. They have also been nominated for 11 Brit Awards and won Best British Group at the 2018 Brit Awards. Gorillaz have sold over 35 million Equivalent Albums worldwide.
Other replies to this are great and mentioned the human touch. What is missing with automatic DJ apps is the magic of the segue, which Bill makes look easy, which is genius. AND themed sets so subtle you may not notice, which no algorithm could dream up.
We all of us thank you two! xoxo
Rap? Hahahaha...the semi-spoken part in the middle of this song makes this a rap song about as much as Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues is a rap song. A pet peeve of mine is when people dismiss "rap" music categorically. You couldn't pay me to listen to commercial, mainstream rap that celebrates money, guns and (politely) women...but there is so much creativity and musical genius in the wider hip-hop genre (underground, indie, etc.) Lots of poets and idealists there, along with infectious melody, awesome beats, and lyrical innovation.
As last posts go, this one seems hard to beat. Is it too late to nominate this for 2013 post of the year? :-)

TOTALLY NAILED IT!
Observed in vacuum this is a solid 9.
Dads listening to this station react to hip hop like my allergic cousin to a peanut..
In this house it is the Dad who constantly pushes RP on his kids
turning off slide show, just to be safe.
I comment too much on this one song. I must like it.
