You jump ship way quick but maybe it's Thicker Than Water,
I've got some good news for you my friend,
Man is faster,
You jump ship way quick but maybe its Thicker Than Water,
One day you wake up and realize just what you're after.

Todd Hannigan is a Grammy-award winning musician and composer. Growing up in Ventura, California, young Todd split his time between surfing and playing the guitar. At age 22, he went to live with a cousin who taught sound engineering at New York University, sitting in on his classes and reading his books, quickly falling in love with the subject. Hannigan spent many years traveling the coastlines of Australia, Indonesia, Ecuador, and Africa, being influenced by the many musical cultures he encountered along the way. He brought all of these elements together for his debut album Volume 1, released in 2005.
Todd Hannigan has composed music for many films, documentaries, and shorts, including award winning surf films "Thicker than Water” and “September Sessions”. The song “Thicker than Water” featured here on RadioParadise is from the 2000 documentary film of the same name.

nice (very short) song now I will investigate the film, might be cool too
That's possible?
Yep, add me to the list. Good song.
This song is soooo cool... love it...

I'm also getting a bit of a Neil Halstead vibe.
Nice tune.

The film is an amazing example of late 90s surf films. Jack Johnson is wonderful film maker and surfer in addition to being a musician. The soundtracks to his films are always on point and I think the RP listeners would enjoy them thoroughly.

CD and DVD ordered, last 2 of each on Amazon
It might be more difficult not to sound like someone than to deliberately do so.
Also can be heard at 1:37 and 1:58 in Curtains by Peter Gabriel.

Thank you very much for these infos!
I thought the exact same thing (and that being compared to Nick Drake is quite a compliment)!
Yah....that was my first thought, too. It was..."Wait...did I miss an 'ol Nick Drake song?" as I was queuing this up to read....
