Mustang Sally!
Guess you better slow your mustang down...
(oh lord...what I said now...)
Mustang Sally now baby....oh Lord...
Guess you better slow your mustang down...
(oh yeah)
You been running all over the town now...
OH!...Guess I'll have to put your flat feet on the ground....
(Ha!...what I said now...)
Listen:
All you wanna do is ride around Sally....
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
Listen here....one of these lonely mornings,
OH!...gonna' be wiping your weeping eyes...(HUH!)
What J say now! Lookey here...
I bought you a brand-new mustang, a 1965.
Now you come around, single, fine, woman...
And don't wanna let me ride...
Mustang Sally, now baby, oh lord,
Guess you better slow that mustang down....(Huh...oh Lord)
You been running all over town...OH!
Gotta put your flat feet on the ground...
What I said now...let me say it one more time.
Now all you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
Guess you better slow your mustang down...
(oh lord...what I said now...)
Mustang Sally now baby....oh Lord...

A major figure in the development of soul music, Pickett recorded over 50 songs which made the US R&B charts, many of which crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100.
