Cracker is an American rock band formed in 1990 by lead singer David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The band's first album Cracker was released in 1992 on Virgin Records; it included the single "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)", which went to #1 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart. The band's follow-up, the 1993 album Kerosene Hat included the hit songs "Low", "Get Off This", and "Euro-Trash Girl".

Cracker has released nine studio albums and several compilations, collaborations, solo projects and live albums. The band mix influences and sounds from rock, punk, grunge, psychedelia, country, blues and folk.

There is much better Cracker in the barrel so to speak but I like just about all their stuff. This is no exception. yes quite likeable

Just saw Cracker with Camper van in Philly. I still love seeing them live. They have a nice catalog from which to draw. Happy to be one of the bald/balding heads bopping up and down.

This entry screams "reply"! Radio Paradise is pretty much the same as always, although the DJ and his wife (who programs the specific songs) are Boomers from the SF Bay Area, so you have to make allowances. Easy listening is not the word I would use to describe the programming on Radioparadise.com. It's more like psychedelic and liberal. If that equals easy listening in some listener's ears, so be it.

I've been noticing a scary trend. Radioparadise has been moving farther from everything it was when I started listening and closer to "easy listening" every day. This is one of the few songs left on the playlist that echo of what radioparadise used to be. Wether I like the song or not doesn't matter, If I wanted to listen to only the songs I liked, I'd not waste someone else's (extremely expensive) bandwidth to listen to a music stream.

This sounds like the theme song to the Sergie Boydrof film "Brat" (Brother in russian). I like the russian song better - and no I don't mean "Wings" by Nautilas.

I agree. This is probably the worst song on the album. Give "Gimme One More Chance" a listen. Damn good song, especially Hickman's guitar solo. I wish RP would upload this. I've been a HUGE Cracker fan since their first album came out in 1992, and have seen them at least 10-12 times anytime they come through Chicago. Though I do like the new album, I really miss the intensity and energy of some of their earlier work. They've kind of mellowed out as they've aged. However, they are still a fantastic live act, and always a put on a great show.

Certainly there is something on this new album that is more aurally rewarding than this tune. I have a couple of the older Cracker CD's (Kerosene Hat & The Golden Age) and I can listen to every track on both CD's over and over. But this song, Man! You just want it to end! I hope you can dig a little deeper and find something more airworthy.
