I hear a voice that fights the wind, the rain that keeps fallin'
And I feel a river rushin' in between you and me
And you keep on lookin' for something that's not lost
And I wish that somehow I could carry you across
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart?
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart? Sweetheart
When they told you that the great parade had long since passed
I saw you waiting there for the good times to come back
I'm feelin' blue 'cause there's so much to live up to
And I wish that somehow I could give it all to you
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart?
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart? Sweetheart
I'm feelin' blue 'cause there's so much to live up to
And I wish that somehow I could give it all to you
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart?
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart?
Why don't you rest your worries darling one, sweetheart?

It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN...
to rate any CRACKER SONG
below 8.
Shit... I think I might actually agree with Stingray... Here comes the Zombie Apocalypse...
The songs creep up on you after a while. Seems I like most of what Cracker does per RP streams.
....and didn't hesitate long to rate 8!
There is not a single bad CRACKER album, but any-many magnifcent songs!
...and a top-class LIVE-BAND!
Saw them in a small club 12/31/2019 just before the lockdown in a small club. Spectacular! One of the last shows I saw before the lockdown, glad I did.
how big was the club?
(kind of like Cure/Placebo ?)
...but Gotye is a 9! Always consider the source.
Sorry you feel this way. I know the singing leaves something to be desired, but the song writing, guitar and overall instrumental arrangements are awesome.
Bill please play St. Cajetan (sp?) from the eponymous album — I defy anyone not to like Cracker then!
Yeah, good song.
Totally. After about a dozen listens, that guitar intro just reached out and grabbed me by the throat! Kewl.
This one misses the mark for me. lacks something. any ideas why?
