KÃla is an Irish folk music group formed in 1987 in Irish language secondary school Coláiste Eóin in County Dublin.
The seven members, all from Dublin, come from different musical backgrounds and share a passion to create great music with an ability to absorb influences from across the globe. With its roots in traditional Irish, it features a strong percussive like singing and melodies driven by a serious rhythmical undercurrent
KÃla fuse the effects of their own melodies and Irish (Gaelic) lyrics, Irish folk instruments such as whistles, fiddles, Uilleann pipes, bones and bodhrán with djembe, congas, drums, mandolins, brass, and acoustic/electric/ bass guitars. KÃla’s eight members come from the differing musical backgrounds of traditional, classical, and rock.

These two are timed one bar apiece - I can't stop watching...
Ripped off the album name from Kirsty MacColl's "Electric Landlady" from early 90s.
"Ripped off" is moral judgement. It could just as well be an homage to Kirsty MacColl.
Enjoyable, and the title of the song is hilarious, as good or better than Electric Larryland.
Or Hairway to Steven
Genius!
No sure its Irish. Sounds to me like AI-generated tune, optimized to inflict maximal pain to whomever is listening
If you don't like it, hit the "skip button" and spare us from your whining! I think it is GREAT!
Always reminds me of Shooglenifty [excellent Scottish band] when this song starts, then it turns into reminding me of Afro Celt Sound System as it goes on. Love that Bill is always introducing me to bands that are kind of like bands I already love.
Would be nice to hear some Shooglenifty on here (plus many other Scottish or Irish "fusion" bands)! Try Breabach, Manran, Ross Ainsley, etc.
