You're a shark and I'm swimming
My heart still thumps as I bleed
And all your friends come sniffing
Triangles are my favorite shape
Three points where two lines meet
Toe to toe, back to back, let's go, my love it's very late
'Til moming comes, let's tessellate
Go alone my flower
And keep my whole lovely you
Wild green stones alone my lover
And keep us on my heart
Three guns and one goes off
One's empty, one's not quick enough
One bum, one red, one grin
Search the graves while the camera spins
Chunks of you will sink down to seals
Blubber rich in mouming, they'll nosh you up
Yes, they'll nosh the love away but it's fair to say
You will still haunt me
Triangles are my favorite shape
Three points where two lines meet
Toe to toe, back to back, let's go my love it's very late
'Til moming comes, let's tessellate

Alt-J (stylised as alt-J, real name Δ) are an English indie rock band formed in 2007 in Leeds. Their lineup includes Joe Newman (guitar/lead vocals), Thom Sonny Green (drums), Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards/vocals), and formerly Gwilym Sainsbury (guitar/bass).
Their debut album An Awesome Wave was released in May 2012 in Europe, and in September 2012 in the United States, and won the 2012 British Mercury Prize. Sainsbury left the band in early 2014. Their second album, This Is All Yours, was released on 22 September 2014 and went straight to number one in the United Kingdom. In February 2022 the band released their fourth studio album The Dream.
The band's actual name is the triangle-shaped symbol Δ (the capital Greek letter delta). The band often makes references to triangles. "Alt-J" comes from the key sequence used to generate the symbol Δ on an Apple Mac computer: Alt+J.

A funny story: Because, thanks to RP, I've been an Alt-J fan for years and likewise my 18-year old son has been a super lucky kid and gotten to hear them for all those years too thanks to my being in control of the stereo (when I'm home). For quite a while, he wasn't too impressed with Alt-J, and then about a year ago he came home from school one day and sought out my Alt-J disc — turns out his homies are all hip to Alt-J, and now so is he and he's unleashing some of their other cuts on them!
Long live RP; your mission to spread the sweet sounds must carry on!

Well this is a college radio staple. The more college radio songs that make it to RP the better. Makes RP more relevant to younger people and will increase the listening audience exponentially. Hell if they started refreshing their playlist more often including more college radio tunes I may even start listening from time to time!
When I listen to college radio, it's like when I eat a bowl of Fruit Loops. It tastes super great for a bit, and I'm like, Why did I ever stop eating Fruit Loops? But, lo and behold, before the box is done I am dumping it into the waste basket. Its flavor lasts about two bowls. That's college radio.

I've now associated this song w/ the kid jammin'. Hilarious and makes my day. It's the little things in life, they say.
