I wanna hear your breath just next to my soul
I wanna feel oppressed without any rest
I wanna see you sing, I wanna see you fight
'Cause you are the real beauty of human rights

Makeba makes my body dance for you
Ooohe
Makeba, Makeba, ma qué bella
Can I get a ooohe
Makeba makes my body dance for you
Nobody can beat the mama Africa
You follow the beat that she’s gonna give you
Only her smile can all make it go
The sufferation of a thousand more
Ooohe
Makeba, Makeba, ma qué bella
Can I get a ooohe
Makeba makes my body dance for you
Ooohe
Makeba, Makeba, ma qué bella
Can I get a ooohe
Makeba makes my body dance for you
Ooohe
Makeba, ma qué bella
Ooohe
Makeba, ma qué bella

Jeanne Louise Galice, better known by her stage name Jain, is a French singer-songwriter and musician.
Jain was born on 7 February 1992 in Toulouse, France. Her mother is half French and half Malagasy. Jain had learned to play the guitar at the age of 16, and even though she is left-handed, she learned to play the guitar right-handed.
Her family moved around the world due to her father's position at a French oil company. She left France at the age of nine for Dubai, where she spent three years; then lived for four years in Congo-Brazzaville, which she credits for her taste for danceable melodies; and then spent a year in Abu Dhabi, before moving to Paris where she started a pre-art-school foundation course. These trips influenced her musical style. She also learned how to play drums in Pau, Arabic percussion in the Middle East, and musical programming in Congo.
By the time she moved back to Paris aged 18, she packed a distinctly global sound. Swaying Afrobeats collided with Arabic melodies to create a truly intoxicating global cocktail, her breakout single ‘Come’ combines all of these elements together.
Jain began her career in 2013 when she met Mr. Flash, who introduced her to musical programming. She then published her demo tracks on MySpace, where she was noticed by Dready, who remained her longtime manager. Yodelice was interested in her so he invited her to Paris. Her debut album, Zanaka, was released on November 6, 2015.
Her second album, titled Souldier, was released on August 24, 2018. She released her third album, The Fool, on April 21, 2023.
