Reb Fountain is an artist and musician. Born in San Francisco, her family immigrated to New Zealand when she was a child. She grew up in Lyttelton, a small port town on the outskirts of Christchurch with a prominent alt-folk scene.

She has released five albums - Like Water (2006), Holster (2008) and Little Arrows (2017) were released on her own label, while Reb Fountain (2020) and Iris (2021) were released through the label Flying Nun. Iris was written during lockdown in 2020.

Reb combines pop elements with a noir folk-punk sound; weaving authentic and anthemic tunes that create an instant and indelible impression.
