A 10 for me, old friend. Always has been, always will be. Not even sure it's about the music, but for the intense emotional rushes it guarantees, especially at high volumes.

Soaring guitar work by David Gilmore near the end. Perfection.

There's a sweetness and childlike vulnerability about this song which is quite endearing.

Love love love Nick's music. Stops me in my tracks every time. Don't recall ever hearing him on the FM waves growing up.  Now, it's as if discovering Cat Stevens for the first time.  Thank you RP!

That is some lush, Almanesque guitar playin'!

Saw U2 in Charlotte last decade.  Bono spent 20 minutes talking about his sunglasses. I turned to my buddy and said, "is he talking about his sunglasses?". He nodded, smiling raptly.

What!? The group that brought us  Sheep Go To Heaven Goats Go To Hell  recorded this? I'm scandalized.

I yearn for a mash-up of What I Am with Simon's I Think Too Much.

Grumpy Cat died today.  This will do for a eulogy.

Nothing against the song, but I never liked any `Wall of Sound´ kinda production yet. Was always too mashed-up and over-produced to me. With a good multi-room audio, wall of sound gains a new quality to me. Is it just me rethinking? Or is it just RP's flac stream?

Like Let It Be, that "wall of sound" approach worked well for the compressed range available, and for me, defined the end of AM Radio.

Back when this was released, CDs -- the first digital audio format -- were just being put into production.  Working midtown Manhattan and seeing a Sony CDP101 compact disc player with a short stack of the very first CDs for sale in the US, I brought home a player and this album. Good stuff!

Hypercritical I can be, but when it comes to Bob, I have almost no discernment.  Irae y'all.

Appreciate B&R's willingness to explore "B-Side" songs from these albums.

Wow. And all this time I thought it was Clapton.

Have always enjoyed this tune, especially the trudge section, but after reading the lyrics for the first time, OMG, I'm having a sad.
