Shades of Hall & Oates. Not a good thing.
I hear lots of things in this song. Hall and Oates are not two of them... :)

IMO the best song from this album. And to think they were playing the all-ages club here for a 5 buck cover a couple years ago.

This is a good song, but I agree with the other posters that his stuff from Have You Fed The Fish and Bewilderbeest are even better.

This isn't my favorite track from the album, but the entire album is one of my favorites of all time, any genre. Last time I saw them ('00 in Santa Cruz) they proved beyond a doubt that they know every riff known to man, and did a dead-on cover of Santana's recording of Oye Como Va, a couple of days after Tito Puente 's(who wrote Oye Como Va) death.

Nice choice. Played this repeatedly as I was driving away from my own personal Rockville in 1985. Steve Earle's 'Another Town' would follow this well!

One of my 'desert island' cuts, and I'm not a Neil-head in general. The concluding guitar solos are stunning. Still trying to find a small enough avatar...

I see what folks mean by this version sounding different, but I simply think it's because you're hearing the high end on your computer rather than it being drowned out by road noise while listening to ClearChannel in your car. And for all the Cracker naysayers, when I met David Lowery in person (not drinking carrot juice), he was friendly and polite, though he dissed the press in my town.
