Glory Box - John Martyn

John Martyn is one of the most underrated artists out there. I have a double disc kind of anthology of his and I love it!
Mississippi - Train

This is one of the best tracks on this disc, certainly not going to get played on commercial radio though.
Off This Train - Entrain

Good song but maybe getting a little too much play.

Does anybody else think this sounds like ZZ TOP? Remember them? I know, strictly Tejas, but the sound??
Sounds like good solid funky rock to me. I totally dig this song and this band. Saw them in Chicago earlier this year, hoping to see them in Indy later. Most of the country just doesn't get this band, that's ok though, I do!
Broken Hearted Savior - Big Head Todd and the Monsters

Sister Sweetly was produced by David Z and it was at a time when this sound was popular. Great song but not a timeless production. A better version is the live one from Live Monsters! Live is where this band really shines although their studio albums are consistently great. Never afraid to take some chances, no two albums are the same.

Tangerine - Big Head Todd and the Monsters

I dig this song, these guys absolutely get it done and have for years. The good and bad news is that most of the world doesn't notice!
War (And Hide) - Frankie Goes to Hollywood

This is such a great CD, at least the first CD, don't care much for CD 2. I think I'll dig it out and listen to the PleasureDome!

I've had this CD for a year or so, thought I was the only one. Nice to hear this tune.

This is such a good song on an extremely outstanding new CD. Visit their website to order or go to your local store.

nice mood piece to throw into the mix, reminds me a bit of Moonlight Sonata.

I'm so glad to hear this new stuff! Major record labels can suck so bad, these guys fought through that storm and are still making some of the best stuff out there!
Nothing to Say - Jethro Tull
Posted 23 years ago by tower:
Tull has never appealed to me.
All Apologies - Nirvana
Posted 23 years ago by tower:
Nirvana? No thanks, overrated in my minority opinion.
