"And when your back's against the wall
Just turn around and you will see
I will catch, i will catch your fall baby".

If your back is against the wall, and you turn around, you'll see the wall.

Who is the vocalist?

Adrian Belew is credited for vocals.

Both Nick Mason and David Gilmour have learned to fly. The voice on the radio, in the middle section of the song, is said to be Mason's.

For a minute I thought this song was the green manaleshee (sorry I never could spell that word).Just what is a manaleeshe anyway?

The green manalishi is a green devil. It refers to a banknote. When he wrote it, Peter was getting more and more confused. He demanded that his manager would stop paying him all these large amounts of money. Money is the devil in this world, was his conviction.

Around 1970 I was  at his show in Amsterdam. No drummer. He wore a belt with about 35 harmonicas, of which he used 4 or 5. Great dedication.  Amazing concert, a real eyeopener.

wow, lot of hate and name calling over this band. I totally get how some bands just don't resonate with you, but to slam others for having it resonate with them, I don't get.

If you look objectively at the components of this band, regardless of how it sounds to you, it's not that hard to see why lots of people like them...

- often clever, topical, political, intelligent lyrics
- talented musicians and often talented guest musicians
- often chunky, rhythmic move your butt beats
- quirky and different

Again, I totally get how voices and sounds can be irritating, but you're just showing your intolerance and narrowmindedness by calling them, and by extension their fans, idiots.  PSD is your friend in these cases...

English is my second language: I don't know what PSD is Googling the acronym gives close to 500 results. What does it mean when used in this forum?

what an odd place to put this instead of sending an email

From RP FAQs:
"How do I submit music or suggest artists to RP?

You can do that here: https://www.radioparadise.com/music/submissions/submit.
We don't accept submissions via mail or email. "

Pay some respect, on_the_beach! Just because you are jaded by classic rock radio doesn't mean they hadn't wonderful albums over the course of decades. It's the oldest existing rock band with original members, I guess, never split since the early sixties.

The guitarist and the bassplayer are from the original line up from 1962. Since then there were 3 different drummers, and 2 singers, an additional guitarist and a keyboard player. The oldest existing rock band with original members is ZZ Top, since 1969.
