Le problème de certains "Etasuniens" (pas tous) c'est qu'ils ne comprennent rien aux paroles {#Lol}. Donc ils apprécient selon leur code assez limité.

I seem to sense a bit of that infamous french arrogance in this comment. Being french myself, I feel a bit ashamed when this proves not to be a legend... :/

And BTW, when I listen to non-french or non-english songs (which happens quite often), I also don't get the lyrics and hence I have a "limited code" (whatever that means). But where's the problem, as long as I enjoy the music?

As a frenchman, I would not have expected to discover french artists on RP. Thank you Bill.

It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since this came out! This album is rock-solid, loaded with messages still powerful and timely today, and it's SO GOOD to hear it cranking here today on RP! More Midnight Oil, anytime!

Twice as much now : 26 years, and it still rocks!

Twice moronic remark. For the second reason, read this. In case you can't read more than 1 line per hour, a little help (I'm a nice guy you know):

This song was covered in the late sixties by Joe Dassin, a famous french singer. Like it, but didn't know it was a cover till now.

Loved this song in the movie, "Mostly Martha."
Actually, Via con me (and other PC songs) was used many times in movies. I remember having seen such a movie once. The music is all I can remind me of. :)
