You Got Lucky - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Went to see "Runnin' Down a Dream" last night. I think it is being replayed on 10/29/07 on Sundance Channel. It is nearly 4 hours long, so it is a commitment, but I recommend it. Some great interviews and footage.

This album is Tom Petty's masterpiece. You can take all those albums from the 70s and 80s, because this is the best thing he's done or will ever do.
Alas, I think that is true. I love the 70s and 80s albums, (love the ones after that too), but he will never touch Wildflowers.

I appreciate that artists change and grow, but I sure miss the old Radiohead.

Chrysler building...not Chicago.
BTW, it seems this group complains about mainstream music, but then also complains about something innovative and different. Hmmm, could it be they just like to complain.
We've got a building that kinda looks like the Chrysler buliding though.

It’s Good to Be King - Tom Petty

I concur with all comments below about the quality of this song and the Wildflowers album in general.
Petty claims this summer's tour is the last large scale tour that he is doing. If you get a chance, try to go. They are doing this song live this time around and it is incredible. They jam a little on it.
