William has been playing Billie Eilish on RP since basically the beginning of her recording career. I am thankful because I don't think I would otherwise be exposed to her music. Like William, I also find her music interesting in a way that stretches my boundaries.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what makes Radio Paradise so special. Nowhere else on the planet will you hear this mix of music.

Memory/Flashback. Summer 1985. On a very noisy and very vibrating DC3 returning to Florida from the Bahamas following a debaucherous 2 week "field-trip" (for which I actually received college credit!).  Thoroughly sunburned, mosquito bitten, and sleep-deprived, and somebody actually manages to play this song on the plane above the engine noise, and we all were dancing in the aisles and anywhere else we could. I actually wondered about the integrity of the plane with the rocking we were doing. Classic memory, and I see that I already gave this a solid eighter. Ahhh, youth. Right on.

My then 12-year old daughter turned me on to this when it first came out. We listened to it regularly in the car on the way to school during an otherwise difficult time of her adolescence. Now with her as a 23-year old, we still listen to it together.
Thanks RP for putting it into rotation!

Lucky is the life in the land of the midnight sun/polar night where this artist leans on the landscape to create music that touches the mind and soul so perfectly.

Bump. 9-->10. The Peanuts Christmas show came out in 1965, the year I was born, and I literally grew up with it. But, thanks to RP, I have explored much more of Vince Guaraldi, and absolutely love his vibe. Pre-Peanuts and Post-Peanuts. A wonderful 1960s jazz trio.
The world today needs to listen to more VG.

Too bad she is following Miles Davis in this set. The differences are, shall we say, rather apparent.

Well, as my grandpa used to say, you're only as old as the woman you feel.

Try as I might to NOT like this, I just can't make myself do it.  Solid 7.
