I got 4 1/2 when I saw SW at the Beacon in NYC. What a great show even though Steve was losing his voice. Ninet covered for him. She belongs in the band

Disclosure: I have no material connection to Steven Wilson Inc.
4 1/2 the latest CD put out by Steven Wilson is excellent. Man, are his rejects good!
Some of it sounds like Frank Zappa. A couple of songs mix heavy rock and jazz tones.
I particularly like the re-do of Don't Hate Me, originally put on the Porcupine Tree Stupid Dream CD. Ninet Tayeb sings with Steven Wilson. The re-do is more jazzier than the original.
I would upload Don't Hate Me (with Ninet Tayeb) to RP if I thought the boss would bite. Maybe it is an acquired taste....
I was PSDing and found KC. The brakes went on - When most people were listening Led Zep and The Who - My friends and I was sitting around with a pipe full of hash and listening to KC - THANK YOU
I always try to listen and enjoy The Beatles without success. Beatle lovers always evoque some kind of nostalgia or personal associations and it's fine. But to me, without having any form of nostalgia listening to them, I found The Beatles less than average, being some songs even repulsive. The Kinks, Creedence, Doors, Pink Floyd, The Who, Cream, Grateful Dead and many others band of that time (late sixties) have a lot of songs that I don't enjoy, but at least they don't hurt my ears and other senses. Beatles sound and voices are not armonic, lyrics are cheesy and silly. Yes, I may be in the list of people who think that Beatles are heavily overrated. I am not a hater. But I thanks Bill to have the PSD option at hand.

If you are a fan, I highly recommend 4 1/2.
On Steven's current tour they are playing PT Trains periodically. Other PT songs (Lazarus, Sleep together, How Is Your Life Today?)
I saw SW Saturday in NYC - Great great show
Hahahahaha! I felt the same way years ago when Alan White replaced him on the Yes personnel sheet. Mr Bruford has a much wider talent than "drummer".
By the wa, I finally came to appreciate Mr White, and saw them plat last month at an open-air venue in Boston. Vurrrry niiiize.
Without Fripp its not Crimson - no one else
Yep - There was YES - King Crimson - ELP and a lot of orange sunshine
