Eivør Pálsdóttir (pronounced [ˈaivœɹ ˈpɔlsˌdœʰtəɹ]; born 21 July 1983), known mononymously as Eivør, is a Faroese singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Syðrugøta, she had her first televised performance at the age of 13. Over the course of her decades-long career, her musical output has spanned a wide range of genres such as folk, art pop, jazz, folk rock, classical and electronica. She is the elder sister of singer Elinborg.

Are you just incapable of saying to yourself "Different strokes, etc" and hitting PSD (or mute, if necessary) for the many, many songs you seem to dislike so much? You seem to feel a need to override everyone else's opinion with yours.

I don't understand as well. I only know that I love this song, and this singer performance is amazing indeed. This song has great atmosphere.

That's the majority of people saying this is either Quite Likeable or Most Excellent. I think that's a fair assessment.

Your "painfully repetitave" may also be called "hypnotic". Iconic pioneers (hello John Lee Hooker...) have paved the way for this musical style - I find it wonderful to listen to.
