Sarah McLachlan

Sarah Ann McLachlan OC OBC (born January 28, 1968) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. As of 2015, she had sold over 40 million albums worldwide. McLachlan's best-selling album to date is Surfacing, for which she won two Grammy Awards (out of four nominations) and four Juno Awards. In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour, which showcased female musicians.

far from one of the best female voices in the "biz". but far from "choking goose" aswell. to me it's step behind where it starts to be histerical.

I really think it is nice what she is doing for animals, perhaps they can talk her out of recording her voice anymore though they would probably wish she would not sing at all in their presence.{#Whistle}

I happen to like what Sarah McLaughlan sings.

As opposed to:

I don't like what Mariah Carey sings. The first time I toumbled into her video performance; I thought it was a joke. I don't mean that sarcastically, I really thought she was trying to be funny. Wierd - very wierd wild stuff!

Why get hung up on whether Sarah McLaughlin is the best of the best when she clearly stands out in the crowd.

I never had any experience choking a Canada goose.

I've heard them honk, watched them cover the sky, observed them cover suburban lawns with fecal matter, and been on the other side of some hissing and aggressive behaviour.

It's like this. She starts a note, then she elevates it into some sort of strangled ... honk. If there's another name for it let me know and I will seriously back down.

The songs we both rate at 8+ on this station have a noticeable overlap, so I guess neither of us have any taste.

I'd missed that there was a new Sarah album out. I'm usually a huge fan, but this is a bit dull on first listen... 
I'll inevitably get the CD, so I hope it's better after a few listens.

Nice, I like the production and songs shows lots of depth in terms of how the members of the band move forward and back as the song progresses. I think the song shows some growth for her ...I like her older material as well so I might be considered a fan, and a biased Canadian.
