Jay Farrar

Jay Stuart Farrar (born December 26, 1966) is an American songwriter and musician currently based in St. Louis. A member of two critically acclaimed music groups, Uncle Tupelo and Son Volt, he began his solo music career in 2001. Beyond his established talents as a songwriter, he is a guitarist, pianist, harmonicist, and a vocalist.

Wow - I really like this song!  But then, I loved Son Volt, too... I really need to go back to my high-score list of music and see how my musical tastes have changed. If anything, I've added a LOT more songs to it...  Thank you, RP! *hugs you*

I had the pleasure of seeing Son Volt last week. I was so glad to hear they're touring again and love the new CD. It's really only Farrar that's left from the previous Son Volt group, but he's just as good. What a fantastic show. Catch them if you can.
