Send him your good vibes, prayers or whatever will help him keep his boat afloat.
Thank you.
What happened to society? Profanity used to be taboo, now its the norm. Its nothing but negative energy, which we have enough in life to deal with. =/
A song about love and not fighting anymore and you complain because he says the word shit once? Profane you say... Some people just chose to get offended by the most lame reasons

I think your rose-colored view of what society 'used to be' like may be a tad unrealistic. The man's love has died. I think he deserves the right to rage and swear and mourn any way he likes. Art doesn't need censoring.

With all due respect, I don't think this song is negative. If anything it's positive. The end 'hold me closely' is what you should focus on not the word 'shit'
(Really like his music.)
Very sad, just one bad break after another.

Agreed!
1. Renegade's complaint was much more general in scope than just this song, which he/she does not even mention.
2. It's not just "said once" in the song, it's in the very title.
3. I didn't get "offended" vibes from Renegade_X, more a sense of lament, which I share.

What's wrong with the anacronym for Store High In Transit?

I totally agree with your sentiment, but maybe not on this granular level.
Language is ever-evolving, I don't consider the phrase 'shit talk' to be that profane. It's just an expression. A half a century ago they used to say other things that today is sort of weird, but in their time it was just fine.
But positive vibes are preferred for sure!

Some people have enough intelligence to have a filter and respect.
