Yes to what the previous posts mention, very Nick Drake-ish and it IS a good thing indeed.

I lost my precious brother about a year ago. This song had me tearing up. There aren't many songs about sibling love. Why is that? As he sings, the bond is... home. I feel orphaned, alone in the world without my brother. Grateful for this song.

Okay - let's pull this into focus. Almost all the folks who post here are intelligent, educated, and mostly-literate human beings. Sure, there are differing opinions about songs, and that's just cool.  And then there's Stingray, who apparently thrives on shock-value because he's got nothing else with which to make his mark.  Some of us feed the troll, some complain about him, some vilify him (I'm guilty of all), and some just ignore him. Still, his comments are like an agitated stinkbug in a paradisiac garden - offensive, noticeable, and difficult to eradicate.

So, as much as it pains me to say this, I'm voting for ignoring his posts. Think of them as commas, leading to better posts by other people.

As one wise person from a web forum once told me, "If you have a gripe, take it off the board."  From now on, if Stingray's infantile, nonsensical posts get me hot under the collar, I'll PM him. He doesn't deserve all the publicity he's been getting.

And that's all I'm saying about this.

Meanwhile, I still really love Alexi Murdoch's music, and I'll probably spend more money soon.  Darn it.
