song: Sunset Soon Forgotten
artist: Iron & Wine
album: Our Endless Numbered Days
released: 2004-03-23length: 3:14
Be this sunset soon forgotten
Your brother's left here shaved and crazy
We've learned to hide our bottles in the well
And whats worth keeping, sun still sinking
Down and down, once again
Down and down, gone again
Be this sunset one for keeping
This june bug street sings low and lovely
Those band-aid children chased your dog away
She runs returning, suns still sinking
Down and down, once again
Down and down, gone again
Your brother's left here shaved and crazy
We've learned to hide our bottles in the well
And whats worth keeping, sun still sinking
Down and down, once again
Down and down, gone again
Be this sunset one for keeping
This june bug street sings low and lovely
Those band-aid children chased your dog away
She runs returning, suns still sinking
Down and down, once again
Down and down, gone again
Iron & Wine

Samuel Ervin Beam (born July 26, 1974), better known by his stage name Iron & Wine, is an American singer-songwriter. He has released six studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album (a recording of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance). He occasionally tours with a full band.
Beam was raised in South Carolina before moving to Virginia and then Florida to attend school. He now resides in Durham, North Carolina. The name Iron & Wine is taken from a dietary supplement named "Beef, Iron & Wine" that he found in a general store while shooting a film.

I purchased this CD but after a couple of listens, it all sounded like one song. Not bad, just not moving. It's as if he wrote one song and broke it up into several little pieces.

This is pretty, nice harmony, simple vaguely Bron-yr-aurish guitar figure. Pretty little pop song. Nice.

you'll find this on "Our Endless Number Days" too - prolly one of the best albums to come out last year, top 5 or so, if you are into that sort of thing.
