Tegan & Sara
Tegan and Sara () is a Canadian indie pop duo formed in 1998 in Calgary, Alberta. The band is led by identical twin sisters, Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin (born September 19, 1980). Both musicians are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists.
The duo has released ten studio albums and earned a Grammy nomination in 2012 for their video album Get Along. Their most recent album, Crybaby, was released on October 21, 2022. Their memoir, High School, was released on September 24, 2019, and in the fall of 2022, the TV series based on the memoir was released on Amazon Freevee.

There are better tracks since as they grow older, their music is evolving from the original lesbian folk bubblegum they were initially putting out. (No, I'm not making a comment on their sexuality, I'd probably not have come across them if they weren't popular within the lesbian scene. )

Jeez, a buddy of mine has been telling me about these two girls he knows, Sara and Tegan, who are in a band; he's been telling me to check out their tunes. I kinda forgot about it until I was groovin' to this sweet chick rock and thinking, "Who is this? I really should find more of their stuff." And lo and behold...

sweet - i was just about to step out for a sec, but i haven't hear this track yet, so i'm glued. these ladies make excellent music. if i ever get a companion for my rottweiler, Sara, i'm tempted to name her Tegan, lol.
