The opening sweep of the piano keys sounded like The Boomtown Rats - "I Don't Like Mondays." Well, at least IMHO.

Euro-Trash Girl - Cracker

Had we not lived in the UK for a while I would not have understood the humour - I remember the first time my wife saw Euro-Trash on television during prime time - we were both in tears laughing as she described the 'Sex Olympics' and some of the male acrobatics performed and the hanging place for hte medals - we watched this show often - very funny. It made us realize that North America is a really uptight place where television is concerend !

Horribly pretentious lyrics.
Perhaps you need to check your dictionary " making usually unjustified or excessive claims ".
Bruce Cockburn is one musician and human who is not prentetious - not many artists out there can claim to have travelled the troubled parts of the world as much as he has.

My first taste of Diane Krall was "Peel Me a Grape" heard on public radio (WFPK Louisville, KY). I immediately bought the CD and have been a fan ever since. This song doesn't do a lot for me, but she always great to hear. The funny thing is that I haven't listened to her in a while and last night I put on her Live in Paris DVD and now I hear her on RP. That's a great DVD if anyone wants to experience her live concert.
For a more casual style check out the Live At THe Montreal Jazz Festival DVD - the version of this song is better.
