Sooner or Later - The Bacon Brothers

Nice mellow tune - just don't think about who's performing it. So how many steps does it take you to link Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love to the Bacon Brothers?
Tripping Billies - Dave Matthews Band

Great high energy song. I love their sound, combining acoustic guitar, sax and violin.
Get Off This - Cracker

So what's wrong with a little voice box. Haven't heard this one in quite a while. I think it's pretty energetic.
Sailin’ Shoes - Little Feat

I miss Lowell George!
I'm with you on that. Lowell's slide guitar was so awesome. Although Little Feat has put out some respectable music since Lowell's death, he is missed dearly.
Saint Dominic’s Preview - Van Morrison

Anything from Van the Man is OK by me.

Wind - Circus Maximus

Interesting tune from a band with the guy that sang 'Up Against the Wall Redneck Mother'.
Montana - Frank Zappa

Classic Zappa. How about some Dinah Moe Humm.
I’m Not Feeling It Anymore - Van Morrison

Any Van is good by me.
Leave It - Yes
Posted 23 years ago by skinnyo:
90125 was a great comeback album for Yes who has changed their lineup so many times over the years. 'Leave It' is not the best on this album but the harmonies are enjoyable to listen to after not hearing it for so many years. Trevor Rabin is a great guitarist and added a new dimension to Jon Anderson's vocals that Squire and Howe could not. The old classics on the Yes Album and Close to the Edge are still my favorites though.
Poor Misguided Fool - Starsailor

I agree. Great album from top to bottom.
Thin Air - Pearl Jam

How can you not appreciate the strong voice that Eddie Vedder has and the musical talents of the rest of the band. Great tune.
Shimmer - Fuel

Really enjoy this track but after buying this CD, was a bit disappointed. Prefer 'Something Like Human'.
Hold On - Tom Waits

That gruff voice - can't mistake this guy. Great storyteller songwriter. This CD is excellent.
Rain and Snow - The Be Good Tanyas
Posted 23 years ago by skinnyo:
Never heard of them before but nice groove.
Anna Begins - Counting Crows
Posted 19 years ago by skinnyo:
Anything from this CD is great. Nothing from the Counting Crows has quite shaped up to the expectations from August and Everything After, althought they have still put out some pretty good music. Recently they've gone much more commercial though and border on bubble gum at times.
Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix

One of the greatest rock and roll songs of all time, as shown by the number of remakes there have been. Stevie Ray's version is pretty damn good too and Sting's is not too shabby.
Redemption Song - Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros
Posted 20 years ago by skinnyo:
Not bothered by most remakes but this one sort of grates on me.
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet
Posted 21 years ago by skinnyo:
Overplayed on radio and in commercials but a great song just the same.
Spirit of the Forest - Baka Beyond

My brother bought this CD for me several Christmases back. At first I didn't think that I'd care for it too much but it really really grows on you. Great combination of sounds.
One Step Beyond - Madness

Lots of fun. I remember the old MTV video.
