Like it or not, Blondie is a classic, and that's that.

Haters, remember that there's always the PSD button. Click it and move on.

They ought not say Negro.

 why ?
shall we rename Niger and Nigeria, and eliminate the words "negro" and "negra" from the Spanish dictionary...?

I've been listening to jazz for a very long time and RP always surprises me.  I never regretted doing either. This Miles album was unknown to me. Thanks RP, again !!!!

I always thought this song was by Grace Jones ... now I see she covered it. While this one by Flash is haunting and plodding (and not in a bad way), the vocal range on Jones's cover is much better

definitely agree with that. Although this version was first, it feels like they're playing the vocals and synth track of the Grace Jones version.

2009 remix. Hmm. It seems a little more electronic-y, a little harsher, a little cleaner, colder, more transparent. Not sure I like it as much. I fear change.
Still a 10, though.

yep, definitely sounds less organic than the original; a little too "clean". They did a live on BBC that's pretty nice.

8 on my part and to all the haters out there, there's always the PSD button guys...!!

This is kind of awesome, Zoe with 2 dots over the e.

it's how it's spelled in French...

Surely the price of hearing what you don't expect to hear is that sometimes it means hearing what you might not want to hear.  I thought that's why people listened to RP?

Weel put Jake, just the reason why I listen to RP.    As the Stones put it:"you can't always get what you want..."

As for the hard core haters or "just not in the mood for that right now" people, there is a great feature, the little "PSD" or "Play Something Different" button; you should try it sometimes, it helps release the tension.

Personally I can't stand the Talking Heads but still love RP and don't feel the need to comment when I hear 1 song I don't like. Sometimes your favorite granola isn't just available...  :)
