Sorrow - The National

I certainly do like a few of their tunes, but I'm starting to think all the press/fan fawning over The National is unwarranted. This song is not worthy of the RP playlist.
It’s Different for Girls - Joe Jackson

The acoustic version from his live record "Live 1980/86" is also really good. VERY different arrangement. Unfortunately, I think its out of print.

Drifting Falling - The Ocean Blue

Brings back bad HS memories. I was in a cover band that use to play this song. I'd like to think I massacred the sax part when I played it, if that's even possible. ;-)
The Boy in the Bubble - Paul Simon

So not the best song on this album, but I guess its better than "You Can Call Me Al." Does RP have "I Know What I Know" on their playlist?
Elsewhere - Sarah McLachlan

In My Life - The Beatles

No Beatles song means more to me. Thanks RP!
Bears - Lyle Lovett

That's par for the course. Here in Austin, he stopped a concert at the Backyard because he smelled pot. When he mentioned smelling it, people laughed and some applauded. But he made it pretty clear he didn't like it. I'm not saying one has to roundly (and publicly) endorse pot use, but if some of your fans choose to do so at one of your concerts, you don't have to single them out for scorn. There were a lot of toe-up Shiner Bock drinkers there that night who weren't subjected to the same attitude.

Lyle may be a great song writer and have great music but I am forever tainted by the memory of a concert in Santa Fe, NM (during the Julia Roberts period) where he came on stage and then walked off because he smelled pot(it was an outdoor venue). Held up the concert for at least 15 minutes. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't quite enjoy the concert as much because of his theatrics. Personally I didn't see anyone smoking. He's a quirky guy.
Fascination Street - The Cure

Please make it stop.
Bad Company - Bad Company

Sure, its a classic. But I expect RP to rise above selections better suited for beer commercial soundtracks. Poor choice.
That's Entertainment - The Jam

Morrissey's cover of this song is better!
