Love those chord changes! Happy & melancholy all at once.

Ok, I'm a Vancouver chick and I don't see their appeal. I'm glad they've done well for themselves, but I think other groups have done it better. Trish's group Po' Girl is much more interesting, and yes, I hate the lead vocalist's style.

I'm going to weigh in and say: I like it! A bit too 'easy listening' with the ol' sax at the end, but it all seems kinda toungue-in-cheek, especially the album cover!

a guilty pleasure- this is on the "Blue Crush" soundtrack- a cheesy but very fun surf movie!

I have this song on my iPod- it's exactly the right tempo to jog to!

Oh wow- memories of childhood and this being on the radio all the time! Haven't heard this for donkey's years!

The only thing that makes this song bearable is singing Gowan's "Criminal Minds" over the top of it. Loudly. Almost works...

Makes me think of Stephen King's book "It". "We all float down here- and you will too..." Creepy.

The "tired starlings" line always got me. I always picture these sad, dirty little London birds up on a window ledge somewhere.
