Granted there's a lot of fan noise down here, but at first I thought I heard Ian Anderson and was expecting to hear a flute.
Then I heard the break ...
Me too!!!! As I heard the first bars, I thought "Is this a Jethro Tull I've never heard before?"... Glad to know I wasn't the only one to be tricked into that idea...
For the benefit of those who cannot speak Spanish, the name of this group does not have a literal English equivalent, but idiomatically it translates as "utter crap"
Thank God you are not a translator. A bit of imagination could turn this group into "The Fab Cads"... Move your shoulders, yeah!!!
Thanks for playing Fleetwod Mac today, as a tribute to Christine McVie who died yesterday... We're lucky she left her wonderful music and her distinctive voice in this world for us to enjoy!
Such sweet memories of 9 am English class in the language lab, listening to this song and filling the blanks in the lyrics the teacher had given us! When you are learning English, the vocabulary in this song can really drive you nuts! If it weren't for the music and the bits I could understand (and the cultural clues the teacher gave us), I guess I would have dropped the course...
It happened again!! When the drumming starts in the intro, I'm always geared for "Matador" by "Los fabulosos Cadillacs". Although I like this Paul Simon song, "Matador" has this mixture of drumming and the strong flamenco-ish cry of Vicentico's voice really kicks me up from my chair to start dancing like a sambista in carnival.
The honking saxes really make this song. I feel like getting up and strutting down the street with head held high and Jaggeresque pout on my chops. 8 from the footstompin' Nottingham jury.
Ha ha ha!!! You put words to my wish to get up and do exactly as you say!!!

I couldn't have said it better!! Soar, and then glide and glide......
Felix (9 year-old jazz lover)
Agree. I thought it was him!

My sentiments exactly... I like it but cannot help but feeling that this is a cover of Piazzolla and not an original piece.
